Simple is what I wanted and this does it: time, distance, mph. Instructions were terrible, but it is easy enough to figure out on your own. Seems pretty accurate vs know distances.

I would have to agree with the other reviewer that the instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired. On the flip side so far the Trip 1 has performed as described. It was installed by the bicycle shop where I bought it.

Got this from a major sports store and figured the Bontrager name was good enough. Instructions were terrible.. lots of pictures.. no words. Had to go online to figure out that magnet and sensor should be 3-5 mm apart. Got that done and it still didn't work. Save your money, buy something cheap from someone else. It looks like all of these are built overseas and they just figure that a certain % will fail. Call me Mr Lucky
