What We Sell
For six decades we have carried everything that makes sense in a bike shop. We started out selling used bikes we fixed up in our basement. As the years passed, we made improvements where we could and eventually ended up buying a couple of buildings and going headlong into new bike sales. A lot has changed since 1957 and so have we. Today we carry a full line of bicycles from Trek, Electra, Terra Trike and Strider and parts from just about everybody under the sun. For a full look at our inventory, please stop into any one of our seven locations, or simply contact us by phone at any of the locations listed above.
Wherever you want to go...we will get you there.
In 1976, in a southern Wisconsin barn, a pair of visionaries set out to create the best bikes in the world. They fostered a culture of craftsmanship, where every bicycle built was a point of pride. To this day, though they’ve grown far beyond their roots, every bike they make is a testament to Trek’s founding principles.
The four decades following our inception have witnessed greater innovation than the previous four hundred. Bicycles have not been immune to this explosion in technological advancement, and Trek has been at the forefront of the movement, continually challenging the limits of the baicycle's capability. Our commitment to relentless innovation while honoring our founding principles to build bikes people love that we are proud to stand behind has led us to where we are today. But we know that there is so much more that we can do. This world needs the bicycle more today than ever before. And Trek is building a better world through this simple, elegant machine. Come ride with us.
The brand motto says it all: “The official bike of nothing official.” The Vista, California-based bicycle manufacturer was founded by Benno Bänziger and Jeano Erforth in 1993, when cruiser bikes were so few and far between it seemed like they might disappear forever.
Influenced by hot rod and rockabilly culture and committed to keeping the no-stress, just-cruise attitude of cycling alive, the founders began developing bikes that would turn the heads of cyclists and car-enthusiasts alike. Before long, the striking lines and curved frames of Electra cruiser bikes became a mainline staple on sunny boardwalks, city streets and neighborhood streets across the country.
In 2003, Electra unveiled a new crank-forward design – the Townie – that combined aspects of the cruiser bicycle frame with the laid-back positioning of a recumbent. The comfort and sheer fun of the Townie allowed non-riders to share in the joy of cycling, and it inspired masses of formerly active riders to return to the sport.
In 2014, Trek acquired Electra Bicycle Company to provide business and logistics support to aid in the development of the brand, ensuring that the hang-loose attitude that defined Electra will continue inspiring cyclists around the world.
Welcome to the unique world of WizWheelz, the company that created the TerraTrike.
WizWheelz Inc. was founded in 1996 by a couple of life-long friends Jack Wiswell and Wayne Oom. Over the years we've assembled a great team of people who look forward to serving you. We are a growing company based in Grand Rapids, Michigan USA which prides itself on personalized customer service, great value and superior products. When you deal with us you can be confident that you are working with people who are professional, knowledgeable, and personable.
We care about your new TerraTrike as much as you do!
Our people take pride in the fact that we make a vehicle that doesn't create air, noise, or sight polution. Our products are healthy for people in that they promote excercise, build strength, and relieve stress. WizWheelz wants to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. We are fortunate and thankful that our customers make this possible.
As a business, we also try to have a little fun. Heck, we probably make the coolest products on the planet. It's not unusual that occasionally you'll find us on a lunchtime trike ride, a geocaching weekend, or a corporate outing to the local minor league ball field. Many of the current trike innovations and ideas for accessories have been thought up during one of these excursions. Happy employees make happy trikes for happy customers. So if you call and we're all out riding, be assured that we'll be back shortly and we might just have developed a new product.
Strider Balance Bikes
Balance bikes are designed with only foot propulsion to teach the fundamentals of riding. When the fundamentals of balance and steering are mastered, transitioning to a bicycle with pedals or motorcycle is easy.
When learning to ride, a child needs to experience how leaning and steering affects the balance of the bike.
